Northwest Optometric Associates optometrist, Dominick M. Maino, OD, MEd, FAAO, FCOVD-A was awarded the AM Skeffington Award for Outstanding Writing at the recent College of Optometrists in Vision Development meeting in Denver, CO.The A.M. Skeffington Award is presented to the COVD Fellow who has made outstanding contributions to the optometric literature in the areas of vision therapy and vision development. Nominations for this award are made by members of COVD. The decision is made by a committee of the three most recent award winners, the current President, the Immediate Past President, and the Editor of the Optometry & Vision Development.
